Elected Experience: From Jan 1 2014 - Dec 31 2017 I was the District 1 Centralia city councilor. As a counselor, I regularly answer various calls from people in town who wish to help but aren't sure what they can do or which programs to contact. When voting on any topic as a city councilor, I always listen to the information presented before the vote. I also take the important time to do the extra research and ask members of the community and involved parties what their feelings and opinions on the upcoming vote.
Other Professional Experience: No information submitted
Education: I attended Centralia High School, graduating in 1999, and then I went to Centralia Community College to study Criminal Justice that fall. I continued my education there until I could no longer afford to attend.
Community Service: Helping others every chance I can.
Statement: My goal is to be the voice for the common Centralian and to keep Centralia on a path of growth and stability for future generations to come. I want to keep with the times and not allow stagnation to happen. I want to bring events that will be attractive to the youth. As well as working with the college and young adults to tailor our work environment to attract and keep the graduating classes working in our communities rather than having to move to another town. Keeping the taxes at manageable levels for the average income family. Creating an actual street fund beyond the Transportation Benefit District.
