Elected Experience: Hello, my name is Glenn Allen. I have served the Hospital District in the past for 18 years. My service started before the new hospital was a concept and I remained in office until after the project was over. Six years ago I stepped back and took a break in my public service. I now, would like the opportunity to service again.
Other Professional Experience: I have owned and operated a local business in Lewis County for the past 40 years.

Statement: In 2018, just this past year, Board of Commissioners has been following their strategic plan. That plan is the direction and general orders to the administration as to where to take the district over the following 3 years. The Board of Commissioners instructed the administration to engage in a conversion plan from volume to value. That has been happening for the last year of so. It has had the expected disastrous results. The financial results for the year 2018 are published. The district is at or below 21% of its market. As this new direction from the board has been followed the district has lost <$783,870.00>. And has about 1/2 million dollars in the building maintenance and replacement fund. Simply put, If we the owners want our Hospital to be here we will be expected to start to pay up for this business model through taxation. Along with passing new bond issues to fund replacement. This direction in planning has already resulted in a parking lot in front of our Hospital that looks like it belongs in front of an abandoned building. It is past time for new direction from the Board of Commissioners.
