Statement: Dear Voters of East Lewis County-
One of the primary roles of a Lewis County Public Hospital District Commissioner is to ensure that all citizens of Lewis County are receiving quality patient care at an affordable price. East Lewis County residents have a right to access medical care and services that are safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable at prices that are transparent and competitive.Lewis County is a great place to live. I have called this great county home for a long time. My boys go to the local school and my work keeps me local and invested in the kids and community. My career in public education has provided me an insight into the struggles that our families and friends face daily. A serious struggle everyone faces is healthcare, whether it be accessing it or paying for it. People need help. They need support. They need solutions.
If elected, I will work with the other Commissioners, the Hospital Superintendent, Community stakeholders, and department heads to make sure the hospital district continues to be a good steward of public funds while searching for opportunities for improvements in our East Lewis County Healthcare System.
