Statement: My name is Ken Willeford, and my family moved to Randle 5 years ago. I have almost 20 years working for the Federal Government in a variety of position, including positions dealing with monitoring contract performance, working to establish and track budgets, and purchasing. My wife and I are licensed foster parents, and have been for almost 15 years. We are very familiar with the rules and regulations for State agencies. Having tremendous experience and knowledge interacting with biological and foster parents, I feel that I can bring a lot to the table. I have had training on complex issues that children today are faced with and how best to assist them in facing these issues on a daily basis. I understanding the difficulties that children today encounter. 5 of our children are currently in the White Pass School system, with the other 2 coming up. I want to ensure that all children in the District are able to have a safe learning environment to thrive in. White Pass School District has amazing teachers and staff and they should have all the resources and support needed to take care of our most valuable resource, the children.
