A recount of the Fire District 5 Levy Lid Lift election will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021. On Friday, August 20th at 2 p.m., staff will begin sorting the ballots to prepare for the count. On Monday at 8:30 a.m. staff will begin the hand recount of the ballots. The Lewis County Canvassing Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. to certify an amended certificate of election. The proceedings are open to representatives of the district as well as members of the public.
